Buster and Chet had fun playing with the hose, they both love water. Evie decided to join in the fun but was none to pleased to have the water turned on her by Buster. That dirty rotten dog!

We built the garden boxes, filled them with mulch, peat, and pearlite, planted the veggies and herbs and added water. Fun times! Now just waiting for the water and sun to do its thing. Soup will be on later in the summer.

We spent a chilly but beautiful afternoon at Butte Gardens shooting Becca's senior pictures. Nate was behind the camera and he has the good pictures. It was very relaxing to wander around the gardens and not worry about the phone, laundry, or school work. Thanks kids for making us come with you and enjoy the afternoon.

Two old fogies at a rock concert

Jim turned 50 this year so Becca had a great idea for his present. We decided a good old fashioned rock concert with his favorite band would be a fitting present. Creed and Staind were playing so off we went to rock out! We were surprised to see that we weren't the oldest people there. Jim loved the concert and it really was loud and fun. Happy 50 old man!

a kitchen! (almost)

The kitchen is getting done. We are so tired of fast food. As I update the blog the counter tops are being installed. We are so excited and can't wait for the dust to die down so we can cook in our redesigned kitchen.

the reason we say "kind of" is that it was 11 am when these pics were taken, bex is at m&m's, a nuke went off in our kitchen, and mom has turned into a reindeer! by the way, are there any restaurants open on Christmas day?
